No matter how small your voice may be, rising up and saying what you believe in makes you a good man. Mind you it may be a while before 9 year old Josef Miles calls himself a man but if he is doing stuff like this already then I think he'll be okay.
The Westboro Baptist Church has a bit of a history for thanking God for dead soldiers (even protesting at the funerals of soldiers that have literally given their lives to protect us) and expressing homophobic sentiments. While on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas with his mother, Josef encountered a group of these protestors. Our man Josef decided to say something back.
He simply pulled out a sketch pad and made a small counter protest sign with the message, "GOD HATES NO ONE".
Frankly I have to agree with the guy on this one. I am no Christian but I have a hard time believing that a God whose son died for the sins of humans would hate gay people.
Josef is a good (young) man indeed.
